Peace and Freedom Party presidential candidate Roseanne Barr spoke at the “The Political Future of Marijuana” event at Oaksterdam University in Oakland, Calif. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012. Barr was one of a panel of several speakers, including medical marijuana advocate Ed Rosenthal, former Black Panther Elder Freeman, KPFA reporter Jose Alacran Gutierrez and others. Barr was nominated by Peace and Freedom Party 15th Assembly District candidate Gene Ruyle, who also spoke at the event.
