Guidelines for the RW Forum
Welcome! As you explore Roseanne World please feel free to make yourself at home! Along with the practice of common good in the treatment of other members, we have provided some guidelines that are listed to help everyone along their journey here on RW. Please do not be put off by these rules or feel intimidated and therefore fear participating within the forum. They have been composed simply to enhance the enjoyment of your time here at Roseanne World. These guidelines can be altered and are subject to moderator/site host judgment at any time:
NO PERSONAL INSULTS OR ATTACKS
Roseanne provides this site for our users to gather and discuss whatever we like and on her dime. You are free to disagree with others, but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be deleted. If you ARE insulted please report the post, but DO NOT retaliate.
NO TROLLING, FLAME WARS OR "TRASH TALKING"
Trolling and/or attempting to bait others into a flame war will not be tolerated. Any posts we deem to fall in this category will be deleted. This includes inflammatory comments about specific members. This includes using the private message system to spam other members.
DELETION & LOCKING OF POSTS
Site administrators possess the ability to delete posts. They also reserve the right to close any topic without justification. However, we will always try to use the following policy.
Topics will normally only be closed in the following circumstances:
· Where the topic is, or has become inappropriate, offensive, derogatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, or invasive of a person's privacy.
· Where the topic is drifting away from the topic of discussion, or new posts are nonconstructive and will cause the deterioration of the discussion. Site admins will attempt to split/move topics to a more appropriate forum before closing a topic in this case.
· Where a topic reaches a natural conclusion, and by leaving the topic open it is likely that either of the above two points will occur.
· Where a topic is in breach of the forum rules and guidelines as outlined above.
Moderators will always look at all available options before closing a topic. When closing a topic, moderators will always provide a detailed reason for doing so. Any objections to the closure of a topic should be sent via private message or to a site administrator.
PRACTICE COMMON GOOD
Simply treat others as you would want to be treated...think about it.
*THIS THREAD IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WILL BE UNDERGOING UPDATES (ADDITIONS) IN THE UPCOMING DAYS. _________________ It is dangerous to write when the government is wrong. |
