You are coming to the back yard of Oaksterdam, the center of cannabis policy reform. Oaksterdam University has educated over 15,000 people on how to be a safe and responsible medical patient, grow for themselves, and about the legal concerns, politics and history of cannabis prohibition. We sponsored Prop 19 in California in 2010 to control, tax and regulate cannabis for medical, adult consumption and hemp production. A lot of folks think we got shut down in the Federal Raid on April 2, 2012 but we are still teaching and holding events, such as our free open house every Friday; we just installed the Cannabis and Hemp Museum with our classroom at 1600 Broadway. We can certainly send folks your way on this particular Friday! Also, please let me know if you need event space, we have an amazing room with a stage, sound and projection, seating for up to 120, in a mainstream, cannabis friendly ambiance that is perfect for this type of event.
