Ohio earthquakes tied to a deep wastewater disposal well are raising safety questions, amid a nationwide natural gas drilling boom.
your right we are not doing good.
Until a few months ago when the fracking was stopped, the town I live in was feeling earthquakes. One night I was up about 2am and felt one, The next day they said it recorded at 4.3 which is not big but with all the new natural gas drilling that was happening and the fracking it was becoming a daily thing. It took complaints and demonstrations of a documented increase in earthquakes and intensity of the activity to finally getting the fracking stopped. They were able to prove a connection between the drilling, fracking and earthquake activity. People were having their homes and foundations moving and walls cracking. The gas company denied it was connected but the community had research to prove the contrary. It divided some as people who had just been getting by financially out in rural Arkansas had leased their land for drilling and were becoming wealthy from the income. Ironically despite denials that the fracking was causing the activity we have experienced a slow decline to nothing in recent months since they stopped drilling and fracking. Hmmmmm….and they wonder if there is a connection
I think that’s the actual problem. No one does **** until there’s bloodshed. But even blood doesn’t shed a tear…look at Katrina. This world has become a waste water disposal entirely.
This is so crazy. Thank god no one got hurt on killed.
