  1. When Hillary Clinton was running for President she often spoke about how, as President, she would stand up for those who are invisible to the Republican party. In many ways, the word “invisible,” is a perfect way to describe how many of us are overlooked and ignored by the Republican party.
If you are a woman, minority, single-parent, LGBT or not a member of the top 1%, you are invisible to the Republican party. So for all the flaws the Democratic party has, I firmly believe that Democrats tend to stand up for those who lack a voice within our society.
Because as a society, we are only as strong as the weakest among us. That is why I believe in a society that seeks ways to help those who marginalized and hurting. I don’t believe in a society that blames people for their struggles because blaming the victim is often shortsighted and is an easy way to escape taking responsibility for failing the most vulnerable members within our society.
I hope Hillary Clinton will run for President again because she has shown that even through the many years of the Republicans trying to stop and destroy her, she is resilient and has continued fighting for all of us that are invisible to the Republican party.
“Americans from all walks of life across our country may be invisible to this President, but they’re not invisible to me” -Hillary Clinton
