This picture says so much.I’m good @ reading people, often Rosanne comes across so hard but because she has a heart of gold with-en.Can feel the love just oozing at her joy reuniting with her TV daughter..So sweet, life can be a maze, a lonely scary place ,often think all these dam people and yet so many of our hearts our bleeding simply because we are lonely,wounded by life stuck in a shadow of those lucky enough to have survived with families and prosperity.The world turns cold and often people do, not because they are cold, but to survive the madness ,it happened.It’s hard to stay sound ,yet keep balance so that you have enough hard skin to survive yet not grow cold..Luv compassion understanding our free yet people seem to hoard that more then they do their material items..Smile to all who you see ,touch them with your warmth,no matter how evil tries to capture you, always rebel, with more love, kill with kindness..The heart shall live not like the body for time only ,but enturnity..

I feel silly writing. I’ve never written to a celebrity. Well, that one time a hundred years ago, when I had a dream about Cher, and sent her a letter detailing it.I had a little palpitation at the thought that she,back then, or you, today, would actually respond. I want to tell you how great I know that you are, but I don’t have original words to say that everyone else hasn’t said already. I will share this though. My husband died 21 months ago. I had been to Hawaii twice prior to his passing. Several months ago decided to move there to start my life over. I listed my house for 3 months and chickened out because of the terrible market. I regretted immediately removing it from sale but made no move to re-list it until I saw your interview where you said that one of the reasons you bought the farm was because you wanted to live a less “dumb-ass” life. That resonated loud and clear and was the wake-up call I needed to hear. My life has been largely unhappy. It won’t be anymore. Bull by the horns… No longer doing the same thing and expecting different results…yada yada yada. I already sold my jewelry and will sell my car for only the balance due on the note. I will bring my 2 small dogs and 2 suitcases. Nothing else. I will never look back. I hope to run into you and will happily, and free of charge, help you to harvest the fallen nuts {don’t you hate when that happens?}. I am a 5 year breast cancer “survivor” {I don’t know why, exactly, but I loathe that term} and the doctor has been telling me for 3 months that I need a bone marrow biopsy. I say, 47 years can be enough. Once I land in Maui I can die happy. No more pain. Of any kind. I believe this move will eradicate my misery and that I will be healed.
So much love to you. Keep doing what you do. You are an inspiration.

My five year old daughter is named Sara Rose after my two favorite actresses starring in my all time favorite Sitcom. We watch you regularly on episodes of Rosanne and now on Nuts. You continue to inspire and I thank you for the laughs and for keeping it REAL. I love this picture and am going to save it for my daughter’s scrapbook. Again much thanks!

When I saw this photo, it reminded me of a photo of Roseanne in the latest Us Magazine. The publication has her listed under the “fashion citizen’s arrest”. Us is soooo wrong. Roseanne looks absolutely beautiful in the Us photo just as she does in this photo. She is secure enough to allow her hair to gray naturally which I find incredibly attractive. She wears fashionable eyewear, lovely clothes, and has a wonderful sense of humor. I find her to be an encouraging role model because she is secure, sexy, and has fun.

You really do look like mother and daughter there – the relationship is palpable in the picture just like the one you have with John Goodman. Anyone can write lines or claim they wrote them but the depth and relationship you had to build with each person on that set to get a picture that looks like this today and have the show be so beloved just speaks for itself. So many other long-running hit shows half the kids have been in all kinds of trouble or are even no longer alive – but you don’t hear that kind of thing about the cast of Roseanne! Maybe the kind of tongue-in-cheek ‘behave or i’ll kill ya’ kind of love purveyed in the show rang in their hearts and minds as they went through out life after the show. It would be kinda hilarious for Galecky and Parsons et al to go out to your farm and do a show or two ‘on academic vacation’ of some kind with their show and go to your show!! You gotta do it! Then have The Talk tape at your house too on your show! =) Hey I hope you’re sending love/health vibes to your ‘neighbor’ Dr Wayne Dyer (fighting leukemia) – maybe he could be a guest on The Talk show that tapes at your house! (Location fees would be awesome and you could use the funds to launch some new project or get Johnny to work on it so you feel like he’s ‘earning his keep’ lol.) If nothing else you could turn that chicken fencing into a chicken CONDO with like two separate flocks and nestings that open to the back in a ‘human area’ from which to feed etc with a fully fenced ‘run’ out in front for both sides. You’d get more eggs that way!
