Roseanne, isn't it you that blogs about things as you see them that are normally controversial, and have ranted about everyone from Brad Pitt, Jon Voight, Angelina Jolee, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and probably every other actor / producer / director in Hollywood and essentially put them and their work down? So really what I'm not understanding is how can you be mad at someone else for doing the same thing that you've done for over 10 years, just because this one happens to be about you?

Roseanne, that idiot trashed you because you "told on" the industry - and many people find it embarrassing. What is the first thing you do when you want to discredit someone? Call them crazy. "Don't listen to her, she's just crazy."

Everyone knows that the majority of people in Hollywood (from actor to writer to production assistant) is treated like shit by the people above them. However, no one wants to be called out and named as being one of the people who treats their co-workers like shit.

Hollywood is one of the only industries where hostile work environments are the norm. And it is 100% true when I say that it is NORMAL. It's actually expected. As a worker, you should up EXPECTING to be abused by someone, and oftentimes are very surprised on the rare occasion when it doesn't happen.

The only thing you wrote in your blog that I take exception to is this:

Those vanity cards are clear proof of bullying/humiliation tactics - and these Vanity Cards were not only shown IN the workplace, but on prime time television all over the world. NOTE: Not a fan of Charlie's lifestyle, but I did agree with him on this one issue.

I noticed that Ken hasn't worked since 2004. Maybe he's sucking up to someone, Roseanne. Consider that.

You shouldn't resent not getting creator status because you were well remunerated? What kind of bullshit logic is that?? A lot of artists are paid off (ie. ripped off) for their work, speak to any African American musician.

I think your perspective of your reality is something that other people should be willing to listen to without attacking you. I felt such compassion for your experience while reading that piece in ny magazine. I noted your disillusionment with the whole fame thing when you could not get a table at that restaurant that night--something that you probably would have gone on taking for granted until it was driven home to you how fleeting fame can be.
