My personal guarantee:

two laugh out loud moments per page of my new book, Roseannearchy Dispatches from the Nutfarm.

  1. Roseanne, I can’t wait to read your latest book, I’m so looking forward to it. I have to tell you, I just finished the last season of Roseanne. I’ve been watching them all on DVD, in order, checked out from my local library…WOW, what a complete piece of art. I did not expect that ending. You sitting on the couch alone in that ending shot! :( I’m floored. THANK YOU!!! You are one of my top 3 Supreme Goddess role models (one of three women comics–go figure)–a visionary–THANK YOU!!!!

  2. I just listened to the verbal excerpt of your book. It sounds like my kind of book. I’d like to hear the whole book in your voice. I think it adds a whole different level of Roseannism. Still plan to hold out for a signed copy and a second or two in your presence. I particularly enjoyed the blurb about turning 50. For me it was more of a Joan Crawford moment- “Don’t Fuck with me fellas!” than it was Fuck them all, but I like fuck them all too. 50’s are ok if we can get past the being 50 part. I think your book will help lots of peeps dreading 50.

  3. i read roseannearchy, and i loved it. i totally agree with basically everything you wrote, and i laughed so hard through the entire thing! i can’t wait for payday so i can buy your first two books!!!
i also saw (on youtube) the interview you did with o’reilly about your book.
i disagree with everything he said. the US DID sell out to china! we currently owe like 14 billion dollars to them.
on top of that, i remember him saying that most poor people now have air conditioning and big TVs. i’ve lived in basically every trailer park in Nashville, TN, and i can say honestly that almost none of the poor people i know have working A/C units or big TVs (i’ve never owned a big tv, and i haven’t had a central heat or air since 2005), and the people I know that do have those things owe tons of money to rent-a-center to own them!
anyway, thanks for always looking out for us little people!

PS: I am currently a strong liberal, but I am open to new ideas. I heard you say you were a socialist… what exactly does that entail?

  4. I’m getting towards the end of your book, and I don’t want it to end. But, alas, that is how it is with all great books. Thank your for writing this book Roseanne. Cutting through the BS is a huge undertaking and you are an inspiration. Thank you. Ellen November

Along with the tons of laughs, this book inspires me to push on further with my own creative pursuits. Roseannarchy speaks with a true authentic American voice, and we the people are listening and loving it! Thanks for your outrageous and thought provoking writing style. Truly you bring the reader on a trip through the inner workings of your notoriously comedic sensibilities…..

Roseanne you had me at “hello”..
I have excerpts from your last book “My Lives” memorized because I knew it would be one of the 1st ones burned if crazy continued to keep power in this nation.
With “Roseannearchy” its not only side splitting funny but its wonderful to see your life process and the journey where life has taken you as the great mystery unfolds even further.
Thank you for being one of the great satirist /comedienne / domestic goddes and soon to be POTUS & PM of Israel (a two’fer)

I am 3/4 of the way through your audiobook Roseannarchy and I LOVE it..!!! I am 48 and I think you are a genuine genius. I am going to listen to this book at least twice.
How refreshing to hear someone that thinks like me, but isn’t afraid to speak out.
Thank you Roseanne for taking all the ridicule I was too weak to handle and speak the truth!!! I have never, ever, ever written to a celebrity or politician or TV show ever. I had to stop and find somewhere to write how great I think this book is. Love it love you…!!!!

  8. I have not had a chance to read much of the book–only the first couple of chapters–and already I would definitely agree! Very awesome so far :)

NBC has an article titled “Roseanne Barr to replace Betty White in Snickers Super Bowl ad?”
