is swivel akin to drivel? arrogance of rebellion, used to usurp dominant paradigm. I guess I can wrap my mind around it, negative connotations of arrogance might be my own subjective experience. Can see it being a life skill for survival of the fittest.(pj) But what about those deemed unfit for service?
my point is that arrogance is necessary to break the grip of authority. You need to do that to enable your own meanings to flourish.

well yes i am aware of the riches and a few other bullshit Hollywood fuck ups…well i was born in indiana, went to school there, i was lucky in my growing up, i was afforded an education, school was hard for me, we did home stead and only travel south (texas) in the winter to work.. i missed lots of school in those months and had to work harder to get caught up.. i was raised paving driveways and parking lots and seal coating so our work was shut down in the winter months, so we were forced to travel for work… we stayed in camp grounds back in those days, i still pave and i still go south for the winter, but now we all time share so the camp ground days are over ( miss them ) i would not change the way i was raise, i looked forward to the winter and being on the road… the main problem i have with all the Hollywood crap , travellers are always depicted as con men-scammers rip people off on driveways… i have never ever did a dishonest thing in my life for money ever… we have been in the paving business for over 50 years 4 generations now and have never had to advertise, all of our work is from word of mouth and have worked 3,4 and even 5 times for the same customer over the years….. but as to your question what do i know, i only know what i lived… there is not an age when my parents sat me down to talk about being a traveller, we were mainly taught not to talk about it to outsiders…. if you have a question ask away…..
