come on americans.

try to get what is left of your brains in gear now.  Listen to me, you are going to continue to lose all your money every day.  the more money you spend, the lower the amount the dollar is worth.  do not buy anything for xmas and stay home.  save every dime you can and just talk about real things with one another for at least one hour per day–not religion not politics, but about the power of the mind and the studies currently blowing the doors off of perception itself regarding that.  the mind can fix the body and the body can fix the mind.

  1. !! .. noooooooooooooo!!! ..
that should have been “You’re welcome.” .. i’ll just have to pretend i misspelled it in a deliberate, ironic way.

  2. 1. Your welcome.
    2. I’m not sure what the bid deal is about china firing a weapon from international waters near the US. The US pulls this kind of stunt the whole time.

our government cant doing anything but lie to us,,,,im so sick of this CRAPP…Washington sucks ass
Pentagon and its embedded media covering up Chinese show of force off LA
China flexed its military muscle Monday evening in the skies west of Los Angeles when a Chinese Navy Jin class ballistic missile nuclear submarine, deployed secretly from its underground home base on the south coast of Hainan island, launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from international waters off the southern California coast. WMR’s intelligence sources in Asia, including Japan, say the belief by the military commands in Asia and the intelligence services is that the Chinese decided to demonstrate to the United States its capabilities on the eve of the G-20 Summit in Seoul and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Tokyo, where President Obama is scheduled to attend during his ten-day trip to Asia.
    * A d v e r t i s e m e n t
The reported Chinese missile test off Los Angeles came as a double blow to Obama. The day after the missile firing, China’s leading credit rating agency, Dagong Global Credit Rating, downgraded sovereign debt rating of the United States to A-plus from AA. The missile demonstration coupled with the downgrading of the United States financial grade represents a military and financial show of force by Beijing to Washington.
The Pentagon spin machine, backed by the media reporters who regularly cover the Defense Department, as well as officials of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and the U.S. Northern Command, is now spinning various conspiracy theories, including describing the missile plume videotaped by KCBS news helicopter cameraman Gil Leyvas at around 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, during the height of evening rush hour, as the condensation trail from a jet aircraft. Other Pentagon-inspired cover stories are that the missile was actually an amateur rocket or an optical illusion.
Experts agree that this was a ballistic missile being fired off of Los Angeles. Pentagon insists it was a jet aircraft or model rocket.
There are no records of a plane in the area having taken off from Los Angeles International Airport or from other airports in the region. The Navy and Air Force have said that they were not conducting any missile tests from submarines, ships, or Vandenberg Air Force Base. The Navy has also ruled out an accidental firing from one of its own submarines.
Missile experts, including those from Jane’s in London, say the plume was definitely from a missile, possibly launched from a submarine. WMR has learned that the missile was likely a JL-2 ICBM, which has a range of 7,000 miles, and was fired in a northwesterly direction over the Pacific and away from U.S. territory from a Jin class submarine. The Jin class can carry up to twelve such missiles.
Navy sources have revealed that the missile may have impacted on Chinese territory and that the National Security Agency (NSA) likely posseses intercepts of Chinese telemtry signals during the missile firing and subsequent testing operations.
Japanese and other Asian intelligence agencies believe that a Chinese Jin-class SSBN submarine conducted missile “show of force” in skies west of Los Angeles.
Asian intelligence sources believe the submarine transited from its base on Hainan through South Pacific waters, where U.S. anti-submarine warfare detection capabilities are not as effective as they are in the northern and mid-Pacific, and then transited north to waters off of Los Angeles. The Pentagon, which has spent billions on ballistic missile defense systems, a pet project of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, is clearly embarrassed over the Chinese show of strength.
Likely route of Jin-class submarine from Hainan base.
The White House also wants to donwplay the missile story before Presidnet Obama meets with his Chinese counterpart in Seoul and Tokyo. According to Japanese intelligence sources, Beijing has been angry over United States and allied naval exercises in the South China and Yellow Seas, in what China considers its sphere of influence, and the missile firing within the view of people in Southern California was a demonstration that China’s navy can also play in waters off the American coast.
For the U.S. Navy, the Chinese show of force is a huge embarassment, especially for the Navy’s Pacific Command in Pearl Harbor, where Japan’s December 7, 1941 attack on the fleet at Pearl Harbor remains a sore subject.

In 2002, national security adviser Condoleezza Rice reportedly scolded visiting Chinese General Xiong Guankai, the deputy chief of staff for intelligence of the People’s Liberation Army, for remarks he allegedly made in 1995 that China would use nuclear weapons on Los Angeles. Xiong denied he made any such comments but the “spin” on the story helped convince Congress to sink billions of additional dollars into ballistic missile defense, sometimes referred to at “Star Wars II.”

  5. re “chaos” ..
in its most abstract form, i’m using the word to represent the fertile source of order of any kind .. ie. it’s what comes “before” order. It’s infinite possibility. The potential for all things. Once you have order (even pure nothing) you’ve collapsed infinite possibility.
but maybe it’s a choice of words .. because pure chaos could be seen to be a form of nothing.
ps: i tend to bandy about terms such as “soul” and “spirit” but just use them in an instinctive way. So i’m not sure if my meaning matches yours. .. maybe i’d better check your piece instead of blathering here.

  6. re “seeking contact” oh .. thanks .. i remember i looked for it before but couldn’t find it .. this time: success!
    checking out forthwith!

  7. > “you are incorrect about the basic competitve nature, or agression of most humans.”
oo! .. i agree we have a competetive nature. It’s the aggression that’s the point.
Maybe we have a different interpretation of the word “aggression”.

  8. yes i wish you would read my piece here..”seeking contact” –I read in the kabballah, which i love because its so subversive a thought structure…based NOT on the chaos theory of the substructure of the cosmos, but on simplicity and patterning that has NO chaos at all to it—a lot about the string theory and such, harmony and chords and all that–but it said in there that the number of people who have souls is limited, and most people are holograms, scared up to tempt those who do have souls. It was an interesting way of looking at what drives people (phantoms, and phantam thoughts in people form). It said that Souls are the highest evolution of the primate beings, and some of the souls are animals! It says that neanderthals and cromagnon were contemporaries and still are. It says that you can tell who has a soul by whether or not they can meditate and control their thoughts and impulses—i find this to be so interesting and so seemingly true, it resonates with me. Following a path of actual clarity with no spooky bullshit and make believe leads to some awesome changes in thinking patterns.

  9. ….based upon my experience,…..and frankly, my expertise to some degree,……you are incorrect about the basic competitve nature, or agression of most humans.
As part of my employment, I instructed all over the world and in multiple diverse cultures. One exercise we had the students complete involved a timed, 30 second period in which the students wrote the english alphabet A-Z. I would take the students through four rounds of timed efforts and then go back and show them the competitive nature through attempts to cheat, hold their pencils to the ready, all things to improve their personal performance and/or to win/beat the person across from them.
After the exercise, we’d take them back through their own behavior and expose them to just how competitive they really were……we learn to hide our competitive ness in politeness and friendly language,…..but it lurks everywhere…….hell, even in our exchange of opinion, we have exhibited the need to compete….and belive me, I know a thing or two about agression….you should read Webster Groves, you’ll understand….

  10. hi again OG ..
re: The Three Brain Theory – yeh .. i always wondered why so much faith is put on opinion polls where people are *asked* about how they’ll vote. It seemed odd because the speaking part of the person isn’t the bit that’s doing the voting.

  11. hiya OGuillory …
i’m not sure i believe the thing about “the basic aggressivness inherent in all humans”.
Natural aggression arises because of immidiate personal threat (eg. defence of home and community) and there’s the instinct to hunt (animals) .. and there’s some enjoyment in the hunt. But it’s not in our nature to be aggressive unless we feel immediate physical fear.
If you need to create an atmosphere of fear, or put someone through training, or put someone into a highly stressed situation, or dehumanise the victim for a person to become aggressive, then agression is not a basic expression. It’s an exceptional response.
Our so called instinct to aggression is something that’s trotted out a lot. It excuses our political leadership (the natural home of the psychopath) of their role in creating aggressive situations. They create insane caricatures of immediate threats which are designed to ferment a violently defensive fear. If we had a natural aggressive instinct they wouldn’t need to go to all the bother of creating the state of fear.
There are a lot of situations where people are violent where that violence is due to exceptional circumstances. If people exist in a highly stressed situation which are entirely unnatural to a human being (as a particular kind of animal), then there will be violence .. but that’s not a natural tendency.
The biggest disgrace i think is when we see scenes of large scale bloodshed on tv and some voiceover makes some comment about why can’t mankind live in peace .. well .. it’s not mankind that’s the problem, it’s the leadership and the shape that mankind is being unnaturally forced into.
The power of leadership is naturally attractive to the psychopath. And the psychopath is the personality type that can most effectively lie and cheat his way into power. The psychopathic leader is the problem.

  12. Actually,….if folks went online/school and learned about the following three topics,…..we’d have a much better understood society, that communicated better, and raised our children in a manner designed to encourage the constructive use of their competitiveness, rather than the basic aggressivness inherent in all humans
1.- The Three Brain Theory: The theory that breaks down the human brain into its three basic parts and functions. When people learn that different parts of their brain react to different stimuli, they begin to understand themselves and others. Advertisers have known this for years and target their verbal message to attack different parts of the brain receiving the message. Politicians are expert at this, as they use numbers, fear and the emotion of hope to drive their message/candidacy.
2.- Ego States: Understanding the Adult, Child & Parent ego that is present in all humans, adult & child, allows you to understand where others are coming from, and allows you to shape your return message for best effect. When people learn to identify their own ego state position, they learn to apply the same concept to others and communicate better. They also learn to identify the motivation behind mush of theirs and others behavior.
    3. – Maslow’s Heirarchy of Needs: The basic, fundamental
motivator’s in a human life, Safety, Security, Belonging
    Prestige & Self Actualization.
If you study these three topics and learn to apply them in your life, you will get much further that being unaware. I am of the opinion, and I did so with my three kids, that every child should be taught these skills before the age of 10,…..we would have a much calmer society. The broader name for all of this is Transactional Analysis and even though I barely got out of public-highschool, and never went to college, I taught Business Management all over the world for 25 years, lived in Japan, Germany, Bosnia,….etc……and managed to communicate with people all over the world..
the things I write about here allowed me to interact with cultures all over the globe, and never once did I feel an outcast……
… so information or intelligence isn’t bad, it is the application of the intelligence that can be frightening

  13. Ah yah!

  14. > “smart people ask smart questions and dumb people just follow orders”
i don’t think the inclination to unquestioning compliance with authority is related to intelligence.
Ironically, intelligence is a dumb tool. It’s not a motivator or source of morality. Intelligence is mostly used to rationalize (or make coherent) your situation in accordance with your spirit.
If you lack spirit (crushed, ground down or otherwise destroyed) then an external authority is your spirit. For a person without spirit, his intelligence will rationalize his situation in accordance with whatever authority he is subject to. So, intelligence permits the spiritless person to be a vehicle for authority.
Very intelligent people will spend their careers developing sophistcated weapons designed to chop people to pieces. Intelligent people will develop strategies to deploy these weapons in accordance to military and/or political strategy. Intelligent people will be involved in subverting and controlling culture via propaganda. Intelligent people will be involved in torture.

  15. i wonder if the TSA hire on IQ levels like our police departments do….if your IQ is higher then 80 your to smart to be hire by most police departments….WTF
smart people ask smart questions and dumb people just follow orders, i guess is the thought behind that????

  16. i wonder if the TSA hire on IQ levels like our police departments do….if your IQ is higher then 80 your to smart to be hire by most police departments….WTF
smart people ask smart questions and dumb people just follow orders, i guess is the thought behind that????

  17. Even the airline workers are getting upset. That’s great news!

  18. its not going to stop and neither are mass arrests.

  19. that’s genuinely scary stuff.
When it comes to authority, USians are usually as compliant as brits., but sparks are flaring about the TSA stuff. If they don’t manage to crush the spirit out of the passengers then that attitude might spread. The US may catch fire.

  20. TSA Cuffs Radio Host to Chair
    November 10, 2010
The TSA chose Meg McLain for special screening. They wanted her to go through the new porno-scanners. When she opted out, TSA agents raised an enormous ruckus. When she asked some question about what they planned to do to her, they flipped out. TSA agents yelled at her, handcuffed her to a chair, ripped up her ticket, called in 12 local Miami cops and finally escorted her out of the airport. Listen to her story as she told it on radio show Free Talk Live last night. Things are truly getting scary.xxxxxxxxxxxx when are we going to stand up and tell these mother fuckers ENOUGH is ENOUGH…..all the safety measures being implemented by the TSA are not for our safety, they are there to intimidate us(Americans) in to submitting and giving up move of our freedoms….there are well over a 100 scientist and scientific study’s that show the backscatter X-ray naked body scanners CAUSE CANCER and alter our DNA make up…….we are not cattle and i for one wont be treated like such by a bunch of TSA perverted DUMB FUCKS…. they are so stupid they are the ones being showered in gamma ray radiation on a daily basis that is more then 10 times what the EPA deems safe and without any type of protection (no shielding)

it is another con game to get people to spend monies they don’t have for xmas.i don’t buy anything on this holiday for years now!

  22. …some of our adult children are informing us that they will not be buying x-mas gifts for us this year,….
…..however, it is my understanding that through various charity organizations they can “sponsor” a familiy or child, and that the sponsoring will be in our name…….I can enjoy that much more than another trinket that I have to find someplace to display or store it…? If you’d like to have a real-growth opportunity………be forced to clean out your storage locker after two marriages, three children and multiple homes spread over several continents……you will then see the wonder and beauty of our consumer society,….
and you will see the waste as well…..time, money,..emotion…
p.s.- ..damned, I forgot,…the not buying anything applies to everything except books,… can still purchase books,….memoirs in fact…..boomer memoirs!

  23. I’ve always loved giving gifts at Christmas. Last week tho’, for the first time, I felt like not going wild with Christmas gift giving this year. I will just be giving gifts to the people who employ me all year & of course something to my Mother. Normally I spend at least $1,000 and this year it will be waaaaaaaaay less. It just feels right.

  24. It’s the rich people spending all the damn money. Us poor people don’t have any money to spend!

  25. “do not buy anything for xmas and stay home.”
!! xmas could be an non-technology day.
Spend one entire day without using anything electrical. (including the car ignition)
I think Xmas should go back to what it was originally .. a pagan celebration of the rebirth of the Sun. Share the warmth.

I need help with something and I know this has nothing to do with what you posted..I am working on a school assignement for my college senior synthesis class dealing with pop culture. The two themes I am chosing to talk about is women in the work force but also the working class.I have to chose a movie that deals with women in the workforce and for a TV show I chose your show Roseanne and I have to show a clip of it to the class and I dont know what episode to use but the sad part is I can show them only about a minute of the clip. I didnt know where to go but to the source and I apoligize it has nothing to do with the topic. This assignement is supposed to be about 5 minutes long presentation wise but how do I get my point across to a class in 5 minutes. I am so nervous as am nervous about typing this and asking for help. I even have to find worthy websites or two summaries on the working class and women in the work force and have to talk about both of them. If anyone could help me that would be awesome.
again i am so sorry that this has nothing to do with the topic and I havent watched Roseanne in awhile. btw roseanne i think your show was probably the best ever created just becasue it has created a lot of awareness about a lof of issues. TV shows today are not as good as they once were in the 90s and yours is my all time favorite.
Thank you so much for your time and listening and helping
