My assist. Hilary said: "I received a call from Norma Rendon at the Cangleska Women's Shelter. They know you give very generously to them each year for Propane for their Women's Shelters (you recently gave $******* for propane in January 2009).

They said the economy has hit them hard and they are reaching out to their donors for extra donations if possible. The two categories they are running short on is for Food for the women & children and Electricity. Between the two shelters, they need to spend this much each month:

Approx. $3,000 per month for Food (incl. food, laundry & cleaning supplies)
Approx. $2,400 for Electricity

Again, they are very thankful for what you already do for them. But they wanted to get the word out about their current struggles".
