Cynthia Mckinney gets in a rental car and drives from georgia to chicago to denver and back again with a friend or two who sleep when she drives and vice versa just so the american voter can hear honest information about what is at stake in this country. She can get NO coverage at all, and neither can Ralph Nader. They both are moral and decent people who have given their lives to be of service to basic hard working folks who have no voice in their own government. of the vote is all it will take to put the green party on the map. The green party is the only hope for america's future, I think. Five percent means the green party qualifies as a legitimate third party. It's platform is far more to the liking of working people than is the democratic party, and it has clout all over the world, unlike any other american party. It also is based on taking care of the environment before making profit, and also based on justice rather than nationalism. GO GREEN! Cynthia Mckinney for President!!! I would like to see the five percent come from people who are not going to vote dem or rep, because they have lost all faith and hope in politics, who know that neither party addresses anything that seems relevant to real life at all. I hope the five percent doesn't come from the dems...they all need to vote for barack and try to get him elected...it's very close, which is unbelievable! But still, there are many of us who want a deeper change than either party can ever offer. We want a fundamental change and not a cosmetic one. We want a change in the way business is done in the world. We want a rehaul of this entire system from top to bottom based on democratic principles and not on corporate ones. We want a maximum wage, and no income tax. We want increased inheritance and profit taxes instead.

It has the academic scholarship that traces the shift from matriarchal lineage to patriarchal lineage, which has to do with the laws of inheritance of property, which are the basis for every world government.
She documents how the changing of religious "rites" always takes away "rights" both civil and economic. Her book went out of print for years. Because of the work our collective did at "woman to woman bookcentre" in denver,1983... the book was re-printed. We simply called the publishers and ordered two hundred copies. I bought several of them to give my grandchildren. This book must be read. It includes so much about american polygymy and women's free labor, it is more relevant now than ever before... net search it and look it up baby!!!!

stuffed greeky red peppers by a reader tristan:
Red peppers. What can be said about red peppers? They are super-tasty, they have more vitamin C than an orange, contain vitamin A and folic acid. Also, did I mention they are delicious?
Piperies Gemistes (Stuffed Peppers)
2 lbs. lean ground beef
12 red peppers, washed, tops cut and inside cored
2 medium onions, diced
1/3 cup olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup of fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 cup of fresh dill, finely chopped
2 tsp. fresh mint, finely chopped
1 cup of good tomato sauce (pomodoro)
1/4 cup arborio rice
salt and pepper to taste
1. Wash then cut the tops off your peppers. Hollow out the peppers to rid them of any ribs or seeds. Reserve
2. Place a large skillet on your stove and heat under medium high heat. Pour in your olive oil then add the onions and garlic and lower to medium heat and simmer for 10 minutes to soften the onions.
3. Add your parsley, dill, mint and and tomato sauce and simmer until most of the liquid is gone and you have a thick mixture. Take off the heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
4. Add your rice and ground beef to the onion/herb mixture and and mix all the ingredients using a wooden spoon. Add 2 tsp. of salt and pepper and mix. To taste for seasoning, take a spoonful of the mixture and fry it or cook it in the microwave to taste for seasoning. Afterwards, adjust the seasoning in the mixture to your liking.
5. Using a spoon, stuff your peppers and line the bottom of a roasting pot. Pour 1 cup of water over the peppers and place them in a preheated 375F oven for 1 hour.

And my right shoulder has tendonitis for the last four months and it's freaken painful!

Roseanne, I used to like your show and think you were funny. However, I was disgusted by your vicious attack on Angelina Jolie. Not only were your accusations wrong but they were insulting and vicious.
I am not in show business, but I have followed the Jolie-Pitts in the news and just this year I have read about their foundation giving at least $9 million dollars to charity plus the $14 million from their baby pics all went to charity. Now in anybodies book, that $23 million dollars in one year is a respectable amount given from the heart. How much did you give for charity this year? How many dangerous foreign countries did you visit to try to help downtrodden women and children? I haven't seen you in any bullet proof vests in Iraq and Afghanistan lately. I've seen Angelina. Has Buck gone to New Orleans and designed green low cost homes for the poor, contributing more of his personal money to make the housing division a success?
Have you spoken before Congress with suggestions for the betterment of poor people all over the world?
Have you adopted multinational babies that would surely be dead right now if you hadn't taken them?
Just because The Jolie-Pitts have not come out on the side of either of the Presidential candidates you think you have a right to call them "Spawn of Satan"?
I know that anyone can get a blog and say whatever they want, but I think you have been judgemental, rude and most certainly jealous. If you were offered 40 million to make a movie about "shooting people" I'll bet that you'd jog there daily and carry a machine gun with the best of them. I completely enjoy their movies, can't wait to see "Wanted", violence and all. I love those kinds of movies and make no excuses for it. Angelina is an excellent adventure/action heroine. One of my favorites.
I hope you have the balls to publish this letter on your blog, and to apologise to the Jolie Pitts for your inaccurate reporting and needless smear campaign.

Denver has built concentration camps to hold protesters during the convention. Some say these will later be used as labor camps to house foreign workers who will be paid a pittance. Mccain knows about the 200 detainment camps within the united states, knows about polygymist's underground railroad of young girls from canada to mexico, and thinks these things are a-ok. the party that told everybody to let the "freemarkets" rule and everything would be alright. If we just took the inhibitors off of business we would all be rewarded. Big government was our enemy, and would make us lose jobs. Well, Mccain's party raped and looted every dime they saw, and now people are losing their homes, jobs, country, schools, hospitals, benefits, retirement, and civil rights. Mccain's party is the "let the rich have their way" party. This is where reaganomics took us. neighbor against neighbor, brother against brother, rich against poor...ARMAGEDDON. Again mccain's party will appeal to the lowest in people...their secret racism, their secret fear of women's reproductive rights, their fears of homosexuality, and devils and spooks from other religions. I hope it doesn't work this time. I hope this time the voting public cannot be turned against its own best interests. I hope that voters vote for community instead of consolidation of power. community is key.

democrats want to lose
and therefore did not fully vet the candidate they shoved down everyone's throat. I am the first blogger to blog about Obama's abortion vote and how it would become the october surprise...they have michelle obama on tape defending live birth abortion, and raising money for it too...(they called this "the whitey" tape, but its far better than just that kind of a boring thing...she is on tape defending sucking the brains out of babies who live through late term abortions). This is the greatest gift pelosi and dean can give to the republicans they work for. It took alot of doing in order to throw this election to the republicans after iraq, katrina, and the economy, but pelosi and dean found a way!
Oprah Winfrey always gets her republican friends elected!! She and she alone split the woman's vote, thereby destabilizing the entire party and fracturing it forever along racial and gender lines. It is estimated that her endorsement of Obama swung over one million women's votes from Hillary, who remains the only candidate who polls to win against mccain. Oprah can rest well now knowing that her dogs will not have to pay inheritance tax over the next four years if she dies. However, in 2012, when dean pelosi and the rest of the traitors are out of jobs, and Hillary again runs for president, wins, and changes inheritance taxes to cover health care costs, we will have a nice drink to the end of the Oprah Winfrey "pray to angels instead of protest injustice" method of female stinkthink.
My great hope is that the green party will have overrun the democratic party by that time, and made its entire platform green instead of corporate controlled. I am voting for cynthia mckinney for president.

i do not know brangelina
and do not mean to personally impugn them as they might be good people in the flesh, but the media's images of them are smelly and vile, and I must always attack the media's representation of what is good or cool, because those who inhabit the media world of glamour and entertainment and fashion and gossip are horrid people who have no talent of any kind, and yet think of themselves as tastemakers. taste my sandy buttcrack, tmz, and perez!
