reading obamaites'
comments on huff po makes my stomach churn. The white men who surround Obama put down hillary's supporters with that arrogant paternalistic way they have, and then top it all off by calling feminists who do not support their man racists. Obama has instructed his serfs to "be nice" to Clinton's.
Today Arianna Huffington does what she has been told and writes a complimentary story about the historic value of Clinton's run. Talk about too little too late! After she dutifully helped the misogynists in the dem party to completely destroy the woman day after day with comments about her body, her husband, her mental capacities, attacking her for having no morals, equating her feminism with "beltway politics of the past" and ultimately laying the blame for all of Iraq at her feet, it makes me sick to even visit huffington post. Arianna doesn't like other women much, as you can tell from her pages. The comments she has allowed regarding women are the most regressive and offensive I have read anywhere on the net beside daily kos.
I am glad that Obama can win without my vote and the votes of the women like me. I am thinking of voting my conscience and supporting cynthia mckinney of the GREEN PARTY. I can't really stomach David Axelrod and the vicious things he did to get ahead...he is too karl rove for me...and unless there are close percentages between mccain and obama, I will not be voting democrat and I encourage baby boomer feminist supporters of clinton to do the same. They have written off this very demographic during their campaign, and now it is just impossible for them to ask for support from it after demonizing as racists those who saw a different way to be counted as progressives. This is beyond vile and disgusting.
