the twenty pounds i lost last year off for one year now. I am wanting to drop twenty more now. It has been easier because meditation helps to stop dissociation, which is what is at the bottom of weight gain I think. Read my meditation archives on the right for help with dissociation. Also, not wearing sweat pants and loose clothing really helps too. Nothing works better than eating less and moving more...walking an hour a day, and not eating sugar or white flour, and no more than three oz. of protein per meal. lots of broccoli and garlic with bragg's amino acids is good good good. I will be getting the goddess boots today and will wear them and a coat made completely of seed pearls to the big party on friday night.

I could never vote for someone because of their biology, and I have been in the "Peace Movement" long enough to know that Hillary will not bring peace. There are plenty of youtube vids out there. Codepink has made many of the ones that expose her true positions on this war, and actually, the debates are coinciding with the warmongering she will continue as she gets into office. My hope, is that somehow she will awaken to her womanhood and hear the goddess and respond accordingly... but perhaps that hope, is just magickal thinking. She will not receive my vote. She has not earned it, simply because she is a woman.

One day, I hope Cindy Sheehan will be a candidate. Wouldn't that be amazing! This election has already been purchased by corporations... how will votes be counted this time? If not by human hands and oversight, then the counting is merely a facade.

Roasted chicken and beef burger
Buy preroasted chicken breast, thigh, leg, etc...
1 lbs ground beef, chuck, etc...
1 small onion, white or red diced
1 Tbsp Housin sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 Tsp cayenne pepper
1Tbsp Worstesher sauce or to taste
1 egg
bread crumbs

Mix ground beef 75% to 25% roasted chicken with all ingredients except bread crumbs... bread crumbs are used in case the meat mixture is too loose. Add bread crumbs for desired consistancy.

Portion to desired burger size and pan fry till dark golden brown on each side... put in 400 degree oven until cooked - five minutes approx.

serve with avacado, horseraddish cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoe and extra onion slices if desired... mustard and mayo are my favorite condiments! This burger is to die for! Very tender and flavorful!

if bill clinton doesnt shut up..hillary get chelsea out there and tell your old man to stay home. Congratulations in SC Obama! I want to hear your ideas on nuclear energy, on demanding that Israel become more of a democracy, and on how to end the war, and a less economically divided America. I think its time to stop talking about hope and address actual issues...We deserve these answers, you are running for office, not a pulpit.

...when I said oprah refused to have Hillary on, and it was brought to my attention that I had not checked the facts, and in fact Hillary will be on Oprah closer to the election. I get so carried away sometimes I make big fat stupid mistakes and apologize profusely to everyone i have offended/wronged/blasphemed and irritated..anyway, I am so very glad that Hillary will be on Oprah later, and hopefully never again on tyra banks' show.

allow everyone to voice their opinions on the election here, even if I don't agree with their views. I will not tolerate sexism or racism here though! Anyway, here's a recipe for the fried potatoes i make every morning for J and Buck: I bake it in the microwave the night before, then melt butter, and sautee garlic onions and green peppers in that and add a little virgin olive oil, then i cut the potatoes up and add them to the big old skillet. I use garlic pepper, greek seasonings, sweet paprika and white pepper plus a shot of Bragg's liquid amino acid...turn turn cook cook... add over medium fried egg on top. Then Buck drowns it all in five pounds of ketchup, but it is very very good!!! cole slaw dressing: half cup best foods mayo, quarter cup sugar eighth cup white vinegar...use a little over cut cabbage. barb q sauce: add cherry coke and molasses to regular recipes for it! Parmesan cheese hunks and greek olives with red wine and homemade tomato soup.

I read on Rosie O'Donnell's blog recently that she reads Roseanne's blog everyday. I hope you all will return the favor by going to Rosie's blog now and reading her latest entry titled America. It is an exceptionally fine piece of writing. I am so sorry for sounding like I don't like Oprah or Obama. I do. Oprah has been a force for good for a long time, and I just got carried away with my preference for Hilary over Obama. I think she is smarter and better than he is, but either of them is better than any Republican, and will get my vote no matter who ends up on top. I got upset because I felt Oprah was adding to the divisiveness in this country. I am sorry Oprah, I really do admire and love you for all the good you do and have done in this country and the world at large. I am just so worried about another Republican getting in, my stomache hurts and I can't sleep, and I go over the top sometimes!

I said I'd be back with good news or at least a rational, positive perspective. I don't just scorn and condemn, although it IS kind of liberating and justifiable. But, like they say, "Any jackass can kick down a barn...it takes a carpenter to build one." So, here's how I'm seeing it:

We have to shitcan feelings of helplessness or unrelieved negativity. I'm hardly an optimist but I'm not going to borrow a bunch of pre-gloom and fear from the future OR drag my ass back to smell crap from the past. Re-take and hang on to the real estate between your ears, now. Shouldn't we check our prejudices, beliefs, grudges and opinions at the door, now and then, and recognize and respect some real facts about being here, in the present? At the least, we can probably all do something, today, to make our lives and/or somebody else's better and less bleak.

If circumstances feel like they've got you in concrete...get out the jackhammer. If you can't afford a jackhammer get out a mallet and chisel. Everything that isn't negative is positive. We have to require and trash a little less - and nurture and learn a little more - about everything.

He was also pointing to the fact that the opposite is true. It's not just political; it works on every level. It's worth thinking about, don't you think?

The Presidential campaigns and the election process, in general, are a sadly laughable fraud and a scam. So, it all fits in comfortably with our other rotted, whored-out institutions like organized Religion. The only things we know are the things that corporate media tell us, and everything they "report" is slanted and spun in the funhouse mirror of propaganda that passes for information in this country. Two years before the election they tell voters who the "front-runners" are and which candidates shouldn't even bother. I watched radio personality and Fascist tranny-from-Hell Laura Ingraham last night "informing" us that John Edwards, for example, should forget about it and just try for a Cabinet post. The really sick part? You're forced to participate in it all or you're labelled un-patriotic. It's the same way they use our tax dollars to slash and burn other places they want to rape and own and then insist we "support" the whole bloody, wasteful mess. If we look away from it all for a minute, there's The Super Bowl, Britney Spears and all the other glamorous celebrity geeks with their drug "problems" and McMarriages to gawk at. Thank Gawd we have gushing fountains of brilliance like big fat weight loss expert, and judgemental, fake Dr. from Hell, Phil to make sense of it all for us at the end of the day.

Should we feel hopeless in the face of this sick charade? Hell no! As soon as I go throw up I'll be back with some good news.

I like Hilary for the discussions about sexism that come up now. I like Barak Obama for the way the subject of race just appears. These two things form two of the four pedestals upon which the foundation of America rests. The other one is Class, which I allow two pedestals, since it is the biggest subject in the world, now then and forever into the future. Alot of people who are white will vote for Obama and turn their backs on the black children in the inner cities of America, and on the still suffering victims of Katrina.
That is because of Class, not race and not gender. Class erases Race, and Class erases Gender. But within the race or gender itself, there will still be class divisions. Within the Class, seperation occurs first by gender, and race second. Each ranking will ultimately be about class. Like Chris Rock's saying there are good black people and bad black people, and the bad ones are the uneducated illiterate ones, the good are the middle class ones...(I was appalled at him for saying these things, by the way, but I find that the subject of class never even enters into people's minds at all in this country, despite the fact that everything is about economics here) ! That was a statement about class, not race. Obama is about class and not race too. He needs to start talking about class if he wants my vote.

Hilary owes the women of this country big time and that is a positive thing for women in this country, if she is elected. I want her to start talking about public schools and how to fix them, I want her to talk about the fight she has lived through and survived from the "vast right wing conspiracy" that did in fact keep her fight for health care and any hope of progressive thought sacrificed on the billionaire's altars to Mammon.

I have decided that having a woman president before any man of any color is what these times call for. i am a feminist, and I will die one. You did it for all of us, black and white, and brown. A black male president should come after your presidency. One man is as good as another, no matter their color, no matter their creed. As we enter the eighth year of the Bush-Cheney administration, I have belatedly and painfully concluded that the only honorable course for me is to urge the impeachment of the president and the vice president.

After the 1972 presidential election, I stood clear of calls to impeach President Richard M. Nixon for his misconduct during the campaign. I thought that my joining the impeachment effort would be seen as an expression of personal vengeance toward the president who had defeated me.

Today I have made a different choice.

Of course, there seems to be little bipartisan support for impeachment. The political scene is marked by narrow and sometimes superficial partisanship, especially among Republicans, and a lack of courage and statesmanship on the part of too many Democratic politicians. So the chances of a bipartisan impeachment and conviction are not promising.

But what are the facts?

Bush and Cheney are clearly guilty of numerous impeachable offenses. They have repeatedly violated the Constitution. They have transgressed national and international law. They have lied to the American people time after time. Their conduct and their barbaric policies have reduced our beloved country to a historic low in the eyes of people around the world. These are truly "high crimes and misdemeanors," to use the constitutional standard.

From the beginning, the Bush-Cheney team's assumption of power was the product of questionable elections that probably should have been officially challenged -- perhaps even by a congressional investigation.

In a more fundamental sense, American democracy has been derailed throughout the Bush-Cheney regime. The dominant commitment of the administration has been a murderous, illegal, nonsensical war against Iraq. That irresponsible venture has killed almost 4,000 Americans, left many times that number mentally or physically crippled, claimed the lives of an estimated 600,000 Iraqis (according to a careful October 2006 study from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health) and laid waste their country. The financial cost to the United States is now $250 million a day and is expected to exceed a total of $1 trillion, most of which we have borrowed from the Chinese and others as our national debt has now climbed above $9 trillion -- by far the highest in our national history.

All of this has been done without the declaration of war from Congress that the Constitution clearly requires, in defiance of the U.N. Charter and in violation of international law. This reckless disregard for life and property, as well as constitutional law, has been accompanied by the abuse of prisoners, including systematic torture, in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions of 1949.

I have not been heavily involved in singing the praises of the Nixon administration. But the case for impeaching Bush and Cheney is far stronger than was the case against Nixon and Vice President Spiro T. Agnew after the 1972 election. The nation would be much more secure and productive under a Nixon presidency than with Bush. Indeed, has any administration in our national history been so damaging as the Bush-Cheney era?

How could a once-admired, great nation fall into such a quagmire of killing, immorality and lawlessness?

It happened in part because the Bush-Cheney team repeatedly deceived Congress, the press and the public into believing that Saddam Hussein had nuclear arms and other horrifying banned weapons that were an "imminent threat" to the United States. The administration also led the public to believe that Iraq was involved in the 9/11 attacks -- another blatant falsehood. Many times in recent years, I have recalled Jefferson's observation: "Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just."

The basic strategy of the administration has been to encourage a climate of fear, letting it exploit the 2001 al-Qaeda attacks not only to justify the invasion of Iraq but also to excuse such dangerous misbehavior as the illegal tapping of our telephones by government agents. The same fear-mongering has led government spokesmen and cooperative members of the press to imply that we are at war with the entire Arab and Muslim world -- more than a billion people.

Another shocking perversion has been the shipping of prisoners scooped off the streets of Afghanistan to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and other countries without benefit of our time-tested laws of habeas corpus.

Although the president was advised by the intelligence agencies last August that Iran had no program to develop nuclear weapons, he continued to lie to the country and the world. This is the same strategy of deception that brought us into war in the Arabian Desert and could lead us into an unjustified invasion of Iran. I can say with some professional knowledge and experience that if Bush invades yet another Muslim oil state, it would mark the end of U.S. influence in the crucial Middle East for decades.

Ironically, while Bush and Cheney made counterterrorism the battle cry of their administration, their policies -- especially the war in Iraq -- have increased the terrorist threat and reduced the security of the United States. Consider the difference between the policies of the first President Bush and those of his son. When the Iraqi army marched into Kuwait in August 1990, President George H.W. Bush gathered the support of the entire world, including the United Nations, the European Union and most of the Arab League, to quickly expel Iraqi forces from Kuwait. The Saudis and Japanese paid most of the cost. Instead of getting bogged down in a costly occupation, the administration established a policy of containing the Baathist regime with international arms inspectors, no-fly zones and economic sanctions. Iraq was left as a stable country with little or no capacity to threaten others.

Today, after five years of clumsy, mistaken policies and U.S. military occupation, Iraq has become a breeding ground of terrorism and bloody civil strife. It is no secret that former president Bush, his secretary of state, James A. Baker III, and his national security adviser, Gen. Brent Scowcroft, all opposed the 2003 invasion and occupation of Iraq.

In addition to the shocking breakdown of presidential legal and moral responsibility, there is the scandalous neglect and mishandling of the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe. The veteran CNN commentator Jack Cafferty condenses it to a sentence: "I have never ever seen anything as badly bungled and poorly handled as this situation in New Orleans." Any impeachment proceeding must include a careful and critical look at the collapse of presidential leadership in response to perhaps the worst natural disaster in U.S. history.

Impeachment is unlikely, of course. But we must still urge Congress to act. Impeachment, quite simply, is the procedure written into the Constitution to deal with presidents who violate the Constitution and the laws of the land. It is also a way to signal to the American people and the world that some of us feel strongly enough about the present drift of our country to support the impeachment of the false prophets who have led us astray. This, I believe, is the rightful course for an American patriot.

As former representative Elizabeth Holtzman, who played a key role in the Nixon impeachment proceedings, wrote two years ago, "it wasn't until the most recent revelations that President Bush directed the wiretapping of hundreds, possibly thousands, of Americans, in violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) -- and argued that, as Commander in Chief, he had the right in the interests of national security to override our country's laws -- that I felt the same sinking feeling in my stomach as I did during Watergate. . . . A President, any President, who maintains that he is above the law -- and repeatedly violates the law -- thereby commits high crimes and misdemeanors."

I believe we have a chance to heal the wounds the nation has suffered in the opening decade of the 21st century. This recovery may take a generation and will depend on the election of a series of rational presidents and Congresses. At age 85, I won't be around to witness the completion of the difficult rebuilding of our sorely damaged country, but I'd like to hold on long enough to see the healing begin.

There has never been a day in my adult life when I would not have sacrificed that life to save the United States from genuine danger, such as the ones we faced when I served as a bomber pilot in World War II. We must be a great nation because from time to time, we make gigantic blunders, but so far, we have survived and recovered.

i noticed that the subject of dividing jerusalem into three was covered on the front page of drudge report today. This was the first time I ever saw the story make it to the news.
I have written here of my desire to see that happen...a tribunal of muslims, jews and catholics administering the City of David according to the vision of David himself:
Jerusalem as a living example of International Interfaith.
I see the three different interpretations of Abrahamic Law (which was basically about replacing human and animal sacrifice with a monetary system) becoming ONE together. I see the rebuilding of The Temple in Jerusalem as allegorical. The thought of it still relevant today.

have eaten up all my veggies and plants and grass..the only good thing there is that they are tilling the gorgeous soil for me, so i won't get too mad at them. there were at least ten including two big daddies with tusks outside our house when we came home yesterday...they had two mamas and three tiny babies eating our mac nuts like it was christmas in pig heaven!!! i tried to hook brad pitt up with acorn in new orleans, since we were already re-building houses in the ninth ward there...but i could not reach him. i have fallen out of the hollywood loop in a big way! I have moved my help over to cangleska indian tribe..the poorest place in america. There was no hurricane there, just grinding and unending poverty always. Send them money for heat this winter if you are able to. Let's help to build a battered women/children's center there and a school...my research showed that this was the best way to help the whole tribe, as the women who change themselves then turn around and change everything around them...(women's work is never done).

just read how she was on ritalin as a child...virtually every kid who has gone on a shooting rampage in every school in america has a history of being given this drug as a youngster.
