Yom Kippur...
Tonight begins Yom Kippur, a twenty four hour purge of negativity, and atonement for the sins of the last year.
The greatest sins are these: speaking empty thoughts, not living faith through action, and the worst of all: Not speaking up about the suffering of our fellow man when we could have done so, and tipped the balance toward justice and goodness through action and charity.
If we practice charity, right speech, right thought and right action, we will find that the negative just removes itself from us and we will not need to rack up any karma at all to remove it, it will just vanish.
Our right actions, speech, and right thoughts are the evidence of the repentance we show to G-d.
