LET'S DO IT!
Let's build....a house and adopt a family!
One of the worst natural disasters to ever wreak havoc on the United States was Hurricane Katrina. During the early morning hours of August 29, 2005, the horrendous category 4 hurricane made landfall along the Gulf Coast of the U.S. From Pascagoula, Mississippi to New Orleans, Louisiana. All along the coastline and miles from the shore, Katrina brought with her utter destruction and an aftermath that left thousands of people homeless.
It is our first mission here at Rally Around New Orleans to unite as members and focus on ways in which we can help donate our own time and money as well as raise funds from others in order to re-build an actual house which will eventually become a home once again. We plan to work with ACORN for this project and want you to know that all donations will be given directly to ACORN. It is our goal to make sure that every cent donated to this cause is passed on directly to the people who need it most and it is our sincere promise to you that this will indeed happen. Once we raise enough funds, ACORN will let us know about the home we will have restored and a also a little bit of informatioin about the family we have rescued. Roseanne World Members unite! It will be such a great feeling to know that our on-line community of friends helped to save a home.
Being a part of this first mission is very important. We have talked the talk, and now it is time for us here at Roseanne World to walk the walk. Will you help?
