Thanks Lenny

Lenny Bruce would really be so proud of all this generation of comics today, who, with him as inspiration, brought down a corrupt and vile government with just the force of laughter.

It is to his credit that this happened, and it seems like appropriate revenge for him too...

You showed the way to afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted as a secular prophet and seer. It only took forty years, two generations of comics to bring your message home...
"we are all the same asshole, who confuses show biz with religion and politics."

Bush tries to play the room like a comic does, but he is not fast enough on the retort, and therefore he bombed. He let the hecklers steal the stage. That happens when you have no guts.
